Hannah and Elliott’s beautiful Jefferson City engagement session is one for the books! They have such a sweet love story and we enjoyed learning about it as we wandered around their hometown of Jefferson City, Missouri.

To begin the session, we met at a very special place – the exact spot where Hannah and Elliott shared their first kiss. The story goes that they each met up for drinks with friends at Gumbo Bottoms, a local bar in town. After talking late into the night they each knew they had found someone special. They started that night as friends and their love has only grown since. We loved their idea of going back to where it all began to start their session!

Beautiful Jefferson City

Although only thirty minutes away, Jefferson City has lately eluded us. We were enamored with the quaint downtown as we walked with Hannah and Elliott. After a while, we ventured to a nature preserve where Hannah spent much of her childhood. As we explored, she told us stories of how she and her sister would use the preserve as their own personal playground. It sounded absolutely delightful and as a result, she knew all the best spots!

While spending time with Hannah and Elliott, we grew to love them even more and cannot wait for their wedding next May! In addition to these special spots, their wedding will be held in their backyard, making it the perfect place to begin the next chapter of their lives. Therefore waiting until May is going to be so hard!
