A Columbia MO Engagement Session

Bailey and Cole’s Columbia MO engagement session was the perfect start to their photographic journey to the altar.  They were right at home in the fields and forests of Missouri and so natural in front of the camera! I don’t think we’ve ever had a more genuine and smiling couple – it was quite contagious and my cheeks were hurting as I drove home!  We can’t wait for their wedding next October, but until then read their engagement story from Bailey’s perspective below.  It sounds like Cole really surprised Bailey with his proposal!

The Proposal

Our story – it happened the weekend after my birthday (Nov 30th) and we were working on the new house! He kept telling me “the rest of your birthday present got here today” (December 5th) and that his mom was going to bring it up before we all went to dinner! I actually asked him that day if my present was a ring…he looked me straight in the eye and said”nope!” Joke was on me!

We got ready for dinner and met his parents over at our new house so they could see the progress that was made that day! His mom made me this super cute rug and then I walked in the house and the ring box was sitting there!! I was absolutely clueless the whole time leading up and was so surprised! And the best part was…the ring was in the console of his truck, that I had been driving around the week before! ~ Bailey
