If you’ve been following along with our blogs then by now you should all know Annalise & Evan very well! You’ll remember back in May that Evan surprised Annalise with a marriage proposal under the gorgeous oak trees of Alabama. (If not then no worries! You can catch up here and here.) Having finished flight school, Evan is back in Missouri with Annalise and wedding preparations are under way! Annalise is so happy to have him back after 2 years of long distance and we are too! I could think of no better way to celebrate his return than with a ‘real’ engagement session just for them. (And one that Annalise was aware of this time!)
An Engagement Session in Columbia Missouri
I wanted to make this session special, so we chose to wander around their hometown of Columbia, MO and then to my parent’s land where Evan and Annalise spent a lot of their early dates hiking through the woods. We started downtown and eventually made our way to campus, taking in the beautiful day and talking of their wedding plans. They will be getting married under a canopy of trees next May, therefore it’s the perfect setting for these nature lovers! Finally, we ended the session at the one place where they spent so many dates – my parent’s land. There’s just something about the light in that meadow and canopy of trees that I just love – and rarely ever think to photograph. It was the perfect place to end the session!
Engagement Session number three is on the books for these two -and really, you never can have too many in my opinion! I think that will be it until May, and then the real fun begins!
