A Fall Day with the Washington Family | Pierpont Farms Family Session

Fall in Missouri is magical, and Pierpont Farms in Columbia provides the perfect backdrop for capturing timeless family memories. I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the Washington family during their Pierpont Farms family session, and it was nothing short of delightful!

With the golden hues of autumn leaves and the soft sunlight streaming through the trees, it quickly became evident that the scene was set for a picture-perfect session. Meanwhile, Mom and Dad came dressed to impress, coordinating beautifully with their two boys, Myles and Theo. Not only that, but their outfits complemented the natural colors of Pierpont Farms, adding a polished yet cozy feel to their portraits.

Little Theo, the youngest of the Washington crew, needed some time to warm up to the camera. However, it’s always sweet to watch little ones ease into a session, and Theo was no exception. Once he realized how fun it was to explore the farm (and that the camera wasn’t so scary), his shy demeanor melted away into big, infectious smiles. Meanwhile, big brother Myles was a natural, radiating energy and joy that made the session even more fun.

The family dynamic was heartwarming, as it was filled with laughter, tender moments, and plenty of hugs. Afterward, candid shots of the boys playing in the grass transitioned seamlessly to posed portraits with the picturesque farm in the background.. Altogether, every image reflected the Washington family’s love and connection.
