Kelsey & Brycen’s Playful and Romantic Spring Engagement Session

There’s just something about spring engagement photos in Missouri that feel magical—especially when you get to work with a couple as easygoing and in love as Kelsey and Brycen. Their session was the perfect blend of laid-back charm and natural beauty, beginning in the heart of downtown and ending among a sea of blooming redbud trees.

To kick things off, Kelsey and Brycen showed up in coordinating white t-shirts and jeans—simple, casual, and so perfectly them. We wandered the streets, soaking in the textures of the city and capturing sweet, spontaneous moments as they laughed, kissed, and held hands like nobody was watching.

Then, we made our way to one of my favorite local parks, where spring was putting on a full show. The redbuds were bursting with color, creating a soft, romantic backdrop for the next part of their session. Kelsey changed into two different sundresses, which couldn’t have complemented the setting more perfectly. From twirls under blooming branches to quiet forehead kisses in golden light, these spring engagement photos in Missouri brought out the natural connection between them.

Their October wedding is right around the corner, and if this session is any indication, it’s going to be something truly special. I absolutely loved photographing this season of their love story, and I can’t wait to document the next chapter!
