Engagement Session in downtown Columbia, Missouri

Catie and Zach’s engagement session in downtown Columbia, Missouri was nothing short of magical. They chose to take their photos around the iconic Mizzou campus and the charming streets of downtown Columbia. We started their session on the Mizzou campus, where they strolled hand in hand around the beautiful grounds and took photos in front of some of the most beautiful buildings on campus. Catie and Zach were all smiles as they laughed and posed for the camera, capturing memories that they will cherish forever.

Next, we headed downtown to take photos on the streets of Columbia. The downtown area is full of charming boutiques, cafes, and restaurants, making it the perfect location for an engagement session. We stopped at a couple different locations, each one providing a unique and beautiful backdrop for their photos.  They posed in front of the historic Tiger Hotel with those beautiful lights along the avenue of the columns.

Finally, we ended their session at Ernie’s Cafe, where they had their first date. The cafe is a beloved institution in Columbia, known for its delicious food and cozy atmosphere. Although the cafe was closed, Catie and Zach posed in front of that iconic building and reminisced about that special night. They laughed and smiled as they looked back on the memories they had shared together, and the memories they were making during their engagement session.

Overall, Catie and Zach’s engagement session was a beautiful and romantic adventure through the heart of Columbia. They were able to capture memories that they will treasure for years to come, and the photos will remind them of the love and joy they share every time they look at them. Ernie’s Cafe will always hold a special place in their hearts as it was the place where they first fell in love.

Congrats Catie and Zach!  This is just the first step in a lovely journey ahead to saying ‘I do.’
