Missouri Family Session with the Bahner Family

I recently had the joy of spending a lovely afternoon with the Bahner family for a Missouri family session. Since I have known Rachel and Zach for many years—since their beautiful wedding day that I was honored to capture—it’s truly amazing to see how their family has grown. Ultimately, it’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do.

Their oldest, Macklin, was full of energy throughout the session, constantly bouncing around with excitement and keeping us all on our toes. His personality shined through in every frame, and it was truly a delight to capture his joy. Meanwhile, his little sister, Mariah, was a bit more unsure about the camera. However, that didn’t stop her from giving me some sweet smiles and curious glances. Her shy yet adorable nature brought a tender balance to the session, and those little moments were simply precious.

Photographing the Bahners was a wonderful reminder of how special it is to watch a family grow. Additionally, each Missouri family session I photograph holds its own unique charm. This one, with its combination of playful energy and heartwarming tenderness, will always have a special place in my heart.

Cherishing Family Moments

As I reflect on our time together, I’m reminded of how grateful I am to have captured the Bahner family’s story. From the early days of Rachel and Zach’s wedding to now, watching Macklin and Mariah grow up, it’s truly been such an honor to be part of these moments; therefore, preserving them for years to come.
