Blue Bell Farm has hosted another breathtaking styled shoot.  Continuing with our elemental theme, we came together to visually interpret ‘fire’ and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect.  Silky autumn light caressed every moment of this shoot and the results took our breath away.

The Florals

Now to the good stuff!  For this ‘Fire’ themed collaboration we used coppers, golds and reds and all the shades in between.  Having such a strong palette of colors was wonderful to work with and Emily from Sugarberry Blooms took our breath away once again with her floral creations.  The bouquet she created for this shoot is our favorite to date and she took it one step further and created a beautiful floral collar for our bride to wear.  We had no idea what to expect when she mentioned the collar, but once we saw it we were amazed.  Seriously – there’s nothing this girl can’t do!

The Collaborators

Christy from The Ink Cafe created a stunning copper plate invitation.  It took us back to our days at art school etching away in our intaglio class and it was such an amazingly creative use of the medium!  The sweetheart table was laden with flowers, linens and candlesticks.  Our models, Catherine and Jordan, were heaven to work with.  They brought and ease and naturalness to the photos that is hard to imitate.

Catherine wore a stunning Leanne Marshall dress graciously provided by Bride KC.  If you are looking for the up and coming bridal store in Missouri then you have to visit Bride KC.  Not only is the owner Laura a dream to work with, but she personally hand selects each dress for her store and they are nothing like what you will find anywhere else!  Our dear friend Maria at The Northway Studio created a beautiful garnet ring just for this shoot.  Even though she is many states away in Washington, we have enjoyed getting to know Maria through these collaborations and always look forward to seeing her beautiful designs.

Chrystal L. Hair and Makeup pulled Catherine’s look together with some amazing makeup and hair artistry.  Chrystal and Tabetha really know how to make a girl look glamorous!  And putting all of this together was Christian from Gather and Co. Events.  Without her ability to communicate effortlessly and keep all us girls in check, this shoot would have been a disaster!  She effortlessly designs schedules and makes sure everyone is on top of their game.  We love her!

Lasting Friendships at Blue Bell Farm

We have formed such a wonderful little group of local vendors for our creative shoots out at Blue Bell Farm.  When we first came together over a year ago,  I don’t think any of us knew how many friendships would grow from that very first collaboration.  But grow they did and now we have some very close and dear friends who also work in this industry alongside us.  For that we are very thankful and we cherish our friends in this beautiful industry with us!
