Dreaming in our Missouri Studio

Our natural light studio in Columbia Missouri has been begging for a styled shoot recently. Every day I come to the office to edit I look over my shoulder and dream up visions of gorgeous dresses, beautiful backdrops and luscious flowers. So, when Amira from Breeze Bridal Boutique right below us called, I was excited to hear her voice. She mentioned they were hosting an Allure trunk show and asked if we would be up for a styled session while the new dresses were in. Well, of course I was! We had a very limited window of time, so we put our plan together and called up our friends!

Style and Vision

We immediately posted a model call and found our new friend Erin right away. She was happy to pose for us, and she fit the chosen dress perfectly! The dress is from Allure’s Fall 2017 collection and it consists of a sleek charmeuse covered in sheer lace paneling and an illusion back. Once we had the dress and model chosen, we needed a great bouquet. We phoned our friend Emily from Sugarberry Blooms and she was happy to help out. She made the perfect bouquet that went beautifully with the hand calligraphed love notes by Christy from The Ink Cafe. Finally, to top it all off, Tebetha finished the look with her amazing makeup skills. It was a great group of vendors and I think our vision came together perfectly. Until next time……
