Paige & Kale | Part One

I spent a lovely afternoon with Paige and Kale at their apartment in Columbia, Missouri for an intimate in-home engagement session. When Paige first contacted me, she had the idea of mixing up their engagement session and having one of the locations be their apartment. To that I quickly replied, YES!! My creative soul had been aching to do this and her idea was music to my ears, and so the planning began!

An intimate in-home engagement

Before Paige and Kale retreated to the comfort of their home and cozy sweaters, we first wandered through the beauty of Capen Park (see part two here). After spending some wonderful but chilly time outdoors, Paige and Kale welcomed the warmth and light of their cozy apartment. I captured moment after moment of them being sweet with each other. Their apartment was so full of light and it created a beautiful backdrop to their warm smiles and laughs. I’ve never seen a couple laugh with each other as Paige and Kale did. I think they laughed almost the entire session and it warmed by heart so much! We had so much fun together and I kid you not, my cheeks were sore on the drive home from all that smiling.
