Alabama Love – Part Two

After meticulous planning, the day had finally arrived where Evan and I would put our plan into action in Mobile Alabama and surprise Annalise with the best proposal ever!  She had no idea that in just a few moments her life would change for the better, and I was having a really hard time staying cool about it.  I felt like Kristin Wiig’s character, Sue, who can’t keep a secret.  I was so afraid that at any moment I would give it all away!

The Proposal in Mobile Alabama

We arrived in Mobile, Alabama on schedule and made our way to Springhill College.  We chose this historic spot because it has the most beautiful avenue of oaks.  Evan and I had previously decided to do the proposal right away so that he could be relaxed and enjoy the rest of our shoot without being nervous.  The plan was that I would set up a pose that had Annalise face opposite of him.  She would turn around and walk towards him so that I could catch some movement in her dress.  Little did she know that when she turned around he would be on one knee asking her to marry him!  She was so surprised when she turned around!  The look on her face was priceless and I’m so happy that I was able to document everything for them.

Annalise – thank you for letting me hijack your Memorial Day trip to see Evan.  I think it was all worth it in the end!
