There’s something so magical about Art Hill in St. Louis, especially in the summer. The fountains, the sweeping views, and the grand backdrop of the St. Louis Art Museum all come alive when the sun begins to dip. For Abby and Josh’s maternity session, we were gifted the most perfect evening — the heat and humidity broke just in time, leaving us with a soft breeze and golden light.

I’ve had the joy of photographing Abby and Josh before, first on their wedding day a few years ago. To now see them stepping into this next chapter together is incredibly special. There’s nothing sweeter than capturing the quiet anticipation, the tender laughter, and the love between two people who are about to welcome their first little one.

Abby glowed as the evening light wrapped around her, and the way Josh looked at her with such joy made every image feel even more meaningful.
